To counteract hostile cervical mucus which may be the cause of your not getting pregnant, take 2 teaspoons of Robitussin Chesty Cough Syrup 3x daily for the 5 days leading up to, and also the day of ovulation. It should also be taken with a full glass of water when taking each dose and plenty of fluids throughout the day. Robitussin contains guaifenesin which thins the cervical mucus, making it easier for the sperm to swim and reach the egg.

If during an ovulatory cycle, husband is temporarily unable to rise to the occasion of penetrative sex, probably due to over-anxiety or stress of having to ‘perform’ on demand, do not despair if you absolutely do not want to miss that particular month’s fertile window.
As soon as you can, purchase from any chemist/pharmacy, 2 or 3 syringes (preferably 10 ml or 2ml/5ml if 10ml is unavailable) and a sample container.
As an extra sanitary precaution you can wipe the insides of the container with methylated spirit.
Have him masturbate and ejaculate into the container (as if going to give a lab an SFA sample) while you apply some pre-seed lubricant vaginally.
Carefully draw the semen ejaculate into the sterile syringe (without the needle) and then lie back, insert and inject it into the vagina as far in as possible.
Place a pillow under your hips for elevation and try not to get up for at least 30 minutes. The little ‘swimmers’ with the help of the earlier applied pre-seed lubricant should do their very best to get ‘there!’
Do a pregnancy test 15 days later. Good luck and plenty of baby dust to you!
